About Your Health & Wellness Coach

Tanya Mondoux

In 2010, I was at an unhealthy weight of 165 lbs, and on numerous medications for conditions that went beyond what I could control. I was unhealthy in mind, body, and spirit, and needed help. With the assistance and guidance of fellow Health Coaches, my doctor, and all my schooling, I reduced my weight to 135 lbs., drastically reduced my pain level, increased my overall energy, and dropped most of the debilitating medication I was prescribed. The amazing results spurred me to go back to school, to become a Health & Wellness Coach. As well as continuing education in Aromatherapy and Herbal-ism.
Combined with over 11 years of pharmacy, medication knowledge, counseling certification, Teaching fellow technician's in my field, and my education in holistic nutrition has created a desire in me to help individuals and their families. I want to share my knowledge, in an effort to optimize the mental, physical and spiritual health of adult and children.

I also personally hand craft items that will suit each individuals specific needs. From soaps, shampoo, bath & body oils to teas, cooking oils and much more. I believe if we are given the tools, at a young age, we excel in every aspect of healthy adult life -- but it is never too late to start that road to a happier and healthy you.
Your Trainer & Animal Adviser

Amanda Mondoux

Veterinary Technician by day, Tai Chi instructor by night, and published author of fantasy somewhere in limbo. I have numerous certificates in animal nutrition as well as twelve years of experience behind me. I have a passion for animals, writing, and a newly developed love for health and healthy activities.

When I was younger, I wanted to be two things when I grew up: an “animal nurse” (as I liked to call it back then) and an author. Today, I am living those dreams but have since found so much more. Debilitating medical conditions threatened to take away everything I worked hard to achieve. I’m a fighter, and thus when my doctor mentioned adding Tai Chi and daily walking as part of my activities I jumped onboard; I even had him write a prescription for it!

To say that Tai Chi cured me would be a lie. The first few months were brutal. I thought of quitting numerous times, but kept fighting. Through diligence and a complete lifestyle change, today I am healthier than I have ever been—with the medical conditions still in place. I am living healthy, eating healthy, and now I teach healthy habits for people and animals alike.

After seeing the benefits of Tai Chi on me, I am compelled to share the benefits with others. It is for this reason that I went through the instructor’s course and received my certificate to teach Tai Chi. Tai chi is known as “internal martial arts,” because it not only helps you physically, but develops a strong mind and spirit. Age doesn’t matter when it comes to health; the younger you learn, the better your habits as you age.
